Hello, Steven,
Have you heard of Dr Tullio Simoncini and his book Cancer is a Fungus? (See www.cancerisafungus.com.)
Just wondering if you have any thoughts, as the fungal link to cancer looks intriguing.
Many thanks,
Conrad

Hello Conrad,
I have not heard of Simoncini before, but it is always interesting to read something new. There are many theories about cancer such as Hulda Clark's idea that parasites cause cancer. Her book "The Cure for all Cancer" shows how passionate she is about it.
The idea that fungus causes cancer might get the story backwards. Fungus can only take over when there is an immune weakness. Cancer is indeed an illness coming from lowered immunity. We all get cancer cells mutating from healthy cells every day through our contact to environmental poisons. Dr Samuel Epstein wrote a very good book "The Politics of Cancer".
Only a third of us get cancer however, since the immune cells kill cancer cells in the majority. Candida fungus is opportunistic and only gets the upper hand when the body cannot defend itself. This is where healthy food comes in.

Thanks for your reply, Steven.
I am in whole-hearted agreement with you about the importance of healthy food and a strong immune system.
I think what fascinated me most about Dr Simoncini's theory is that - if true - it provides further evidence as to why sugar and refined carbohydrates, which feed candida and other pathogenic fungi, are detrimental to health; and why fermented foods, which create healthy intestinal flora, are essential to our well-being.
Thanks, once again - I appreciate what you do and am looking forward to the book!
