Since I could not find asparagus in either of the columns ( do/donts) in your nutritional guidance and the search I have done on internet has left me none the wiser, that is why I am posting this on the forum.

Can you advise what your views are on the benefits of asparagus and it's link, as a nutritional aid, to treat cancer?

Good to know you appreciate my information. I have not included other foods besides asparagus. It is OK, if you like it. I have never liked the taste, so I was happy to avoid it, when many years ago I read Michio Kushi's list of extremely yin foods in his macrobiotic books.

I don't believe that it is beneficial as a weapon against cancer. For one thing, the season for organic asparagus is short. It takes a full healthy-food program to stop cancer.
